Dorien Wassenaar

Dorien Wassenaar’s life embodies resilience, adaptability, and a drive for meaningful change. A survivor of severe domestic violence, she learned firsthand the critical need for safety, trust, and collaboration. These lessons shaped both her personal and professional path. As a team manager, change manager, and project manager, Dorien mastered various methodologies but saw a gap in building truly high-performing teams. Determined to bridge this, she developed a practical model to assess and enhance team performance, refining it over five years through real-world application. Beyond her professional work, Dorien is active in politics and research, focusing on safety as a foundation for growth. Her journey transforms personal struggle into a mission—creating environments where individuals and teams thrive.
